Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Insurance and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.62%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which rose 6.81% or 274.00 points to trade at 4,295.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) added 5.77% or 120.00 points to end at 2,200.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was up 5.13% or 2,200.00 points to 45,100.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 3.18% or 305.00 points to trade at 9,274.00 at the close. Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) declined 1.71% or 126.00 points to end at 7,240.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 1.63% or 1,240.00 points to 75,000.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 293 to 163 and 88 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.71% or 126.00 to 7,240.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.37% or 2.88 to $82.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.93% or 2.61 to hit $86.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 10.55 to trade at $2,009.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.71% to 4.04, while EUR/ILS fell 0.28% to 4.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 105.95.
