Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.62%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL), which rose 13.57% or 2510 points to trade at 21000 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp) added 9.48% or 36 points to end at 417 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 7.76% or 2950 points to 40970 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which fell 3.83% or 195 points to trade at 4902 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 3.30% or 450 points to end at 13200 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was down 2.30% or 56 points to 2376.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 282 to 112 and 31 ended unchanged.
Shares in Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.83% or 195 to 4902.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 7.49% or 2.21 to $31.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 7.57% or 2.46 to hit $34.96 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.26% or 22.15 to trade at $1734.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.22% to 3.5273, while EUR/ILS rose 0.83% to 3.8536.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.83% at 99.600.
