Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Communication and Biomed sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.56%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 5.44% or 247.00 points to trade at 4,786.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) added 4.60% or 44.90 points to end at 1,022.00 and Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) was up 4.47% or 800.00 points to 18,700.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 6.66% or 56.40 points to trade at 790.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) declined 1.30% or 19.00 points to end at 1,441.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 0.56% or 6.00 points to 1,060.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 367 to 122 and 35 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) fell to 52-week lows; falling 6.66% or 56.40 to 790.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.37% or 1.48 to $109.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.53% or 0.60 to hit $114.73 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 3.10 to trade at $1,837.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.17% to 3.45, while EUR/ILS rose 0.40% to 3.63.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 104.20.
