Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Insurance, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.46%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 6.08% or 384 points to trade at 6697 at the close. Meanwhile, Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) added 4.36% or 1100 points to end at 26340 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was up 3.81% or 101 points to 2749 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which fell 0.89% or 2.0 points to trade at 222.0 at the close. Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TASE:ORL) declined 0.79% or 1.4 points to end at 175.1 and Paz Oil (TASE:PZOL) was down 0.59% or 280 points to 46900.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 267 to 124 and 32 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) fell to 5-year lows; down 0.89% or 2.0 to 222.0. Shares in Paz Oil (TASE:PZOL) fell to 52-week lows; losing 0.59% or 280 to 46900.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.63% or 0.91 to $56.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.72% or 0.43 to hit $60.36 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 7.00 to trade at $1542.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.19% to 3.5318, while EUR/ILS fell 0.01% to 3.9046.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 98.382.
