Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.31%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 10.33% or 424.00 points to trade at 4,527.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) added 6.50% or 424.00 points to end at 6,943.00 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was up 6.04% or 187.00 points to 3,282.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which fell 4.66% or 1,530.00 points to trade at 31,330.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 1.62% or 55.00 points to end at 3,346.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was down 1.60% or 2,700.00 points to 166,400.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 315 to 171 and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $107.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 5.17% or 6.20 to hit $113.61 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 8.00 to trade at $1,841.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.11% to 3.46, while EUR/ILS fell 0.35% to 3.63.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.01% at 104.46.
