Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Real Estate and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.27%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 5.50% or 498 points to trade at 9548 at the close. Meanwhile, Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) added 3.00% or 6890 points to end at 236900 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was up 2.77% or 720 points to 26710 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which fell 1.56% or 59 points to trade at 3712 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 1.35% or 16 points to end at 1169 and Shufersal (TASE:SAE) was down 1.16% or 32 points to 2722.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 260 to 239 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.52% or 0.48 to $93.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.23% or 0.22 to hit $94.66 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.15% or 21.25 to trade at $1863.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.51% to 3.2603, while EUR/ILS rose 0.08% to 3.6843.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 96.300.
