Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.25% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which rose 5.57% or 300.00 points to trade at 5,689.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) added 4.82% or 104.00 points to end at 2,260.00 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was up 4.23% or 134.00 points to 3,299.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 5.97% or 1,790.00 points to trade at 28,210.00 at the close. NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 3.52% or 3,200.00 points to end at 87,660.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was down 1.29% or 160.00 points to 12,230.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 298 to 153 and 85 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.60% or 2.04 to $76.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.50% or 2.09 to hit $80.80 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 15.10 to trade at $2,045.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.04% to 3.63, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.05% to 3.93.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 103.90.
