Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Biomed sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.19%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Perrigo (TASE:PRGO), which rose 5.35% or 720 points to trade at 14180 at the close. Meanwhile, Matrix (TASE:MTRX) added 4.54% or 334 points to end at 7687 and Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) was up 4.19% or 230 points to 5720 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 5.52% or 1600 points to trade at 27400 at the close. Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) declined 0.40% or 5 points to end at 1240 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) was down 0.39% or 3 points to 775.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 340 to 105 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.82% or 1.12 to $60.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.35% or 0.87 to hit $63.55 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 5.05 to trade at $1723.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.20% to 3.3022, while EUR/ILS fell 0.49% to 3.9761.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 91.097.
