Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.11%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 10.31% or 1860 points to trade at 19900 at the close. Meanwhile, Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) added 5.28% or 36 points to end at 720 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was up 5.19% or 62 points to 1256 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TASE:PRGO), which fell 8.24% or 1310 points to trade at 14590 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 3.05% or 750 points to end at 23800 and International Flavors & Fragrances Inc (TASE:IFF) was down 1.53% or 560 points to 35940.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 248 to 132 and 39 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.28% or 0.86 to $38.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.47% or 0.98 to hit $40.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 8.25 to trade at $1902.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.49% to 3.3931, while EUR/ILS fell 0.49% to 3.9738.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 93.487.
