Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Communication and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.91%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 10.15% or 88.90 points to trade at 965.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) added 3.20% or 57.00 points to end at 1,841.00 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was up 2.76% or 138.00 points to 5,139.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which fell 1.92% or 9.60 points to trade at 491.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 1.73% or 18.00 points to end at 1,022.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was down 1.26% or 2,490.00 points to 194,900.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 262 to 243 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Energix (TASE:ENRG) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.73% or 18.00 to 1,022.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 3.21% or 3.31 to $99.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 3.19% or 3.38 to hit $102.56 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.86% or 15.95 to trade at $1,842.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.84% to 3.46, while EUR/ILS rose 0.69% to 3.65.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 103.85.
