Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Biomed and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.90%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 6.83% or 47 points to trade at 735 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 5.45% or 295 points to end at 5705 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 3.52% or 103 points to 3032 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 1.50% or 930 points to trade at 61090 at the close. Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) declined 0.55% or 45 points to end at 8105 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was down 0.53% or 14 points to 2641.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 237 to 126 and 46 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 3.39% or 1.77 to $53.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.84% or 1.12 to hit $62.06 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 8.65 to trade at $1351.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.06% to 3.6084, while EUR/ILS fell 0.12% to 4.0403.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 97.157.
