Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Biomed and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 6.75% or 640 points to trade at 10120 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 4.74% or 185 points to end at 4090 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 4.66% or 1100 points to 24700 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 9.12% or 179 points to trade at 1783 at the close. Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) declined 1.72% or 360 points to end at 20600 and Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) was down 1.17% or 15 points to 1265.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 309 to 128 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.54% or 1.36 to $54.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.43% or 1.37 to hit $57.70 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.29% or 24.05 to trade at $1839.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.39% to 3.3059, while EUR/ILS rose 0.01% to 3.9718.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 91.157.
