Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.89% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 7.68% or 2800 points to trade at 39250 at the close. Meanwhile, Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) added 5.27% or 80 points to end at 1599 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) was up 5.18% or 197 points to 3999 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL), which fell 5.04% or 1130 points to trade at 21300 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) declined 2.32% or 56 points to end at 2359 and Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp) was down 2.06% or 8 points to 385.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 295 to 113 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.41% or 0.17 to $42.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $44.98 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 4.08% or 82.80 to trade at $1947.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.02% to 3.4062, while EUR/ILS rose 0.24% to 4.0064.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 93.480.
