Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Biomed, Insurance and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.85% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1), which rose 6.53% or 222 points to trade at 3622 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE:HARL) added 3.38% or 111 points to end at 3392 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was up 2.78% or 2540 points to 93910 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 3.21% or 64 points to trade at 1930 at the close. Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) declined 1.35% or 180 points to end at 13180 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was down 1.21% or 130 points to 10650.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 284 to 205 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.65% or 0.44 to $67.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.74% or 0.52 to hit $70.93 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.92% or 16.70 to trade at $1791.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.38% to 3.2278, while EUR/ILS rose 0.45% to 3.7964.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 92.938.
