Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Insurance and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.81% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 7.45% or 4,530.00 points to trade at 65,330.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 2.58% or 121.00 points to end at 4,820.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was up 2.35% or 23.00 points to 979.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF), which fell 1.98% or 280.00 points to trade at 13,850.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 1.08% or 52.00 points to end at 4,748.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 0.97% or 13.00 points to 1,326.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 299 to 162 and 75 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nova (TASE:NVMI) rose to all time highs; gaining 7.45% or 4,530.00 to 65,330.00.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.98% or 1.55 to $79.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.89% or 1.55 to hit $83.46 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.80% or 36.90 to trade at $2,091.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.18% to 3.56, while EUR/ILS rose 0.13% to 3.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 103.82.
