Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 6.64% or 361 points to trade at 5796 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TA:LPSN) added 6.13% or 492 points to end at 8519 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) was up 3.23% or 1240 points to 39640 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 2.61% or 34 points to trade at 1270 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 0.62% or 46 points to end at 7404 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was down 0.38% or 4 points to 1041.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 228 to 124 and 37 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.23% or 0.15 to $66.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $75.96 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 6.60 to trade at $1216.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.37% to 3.7248, while EUR/ILS rose 0.15% to 4.2163.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 96.87.
