Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Communication and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG), which rose 4.04% or 1,310.00 points to trade at 33,710.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 3.49% or 68.00 points to end at 2,018.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 3.48% or 3,160.00 points to 93,840.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 4.53% or 233.00 points to trade at 4,912.00 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) declined 1.76% or 800.00 points to end at 44,700.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was down 1.52% or 7.20 points to 465.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 297 to 167 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.65% or 2.56 to $67.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.22% or 2.41 to hit $72.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 9.90 to trade at $1,967.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.49% to 3.60, while EUR/ILS rose 0.21% to 3.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 103.33.
