Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Biomed sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 4.20% or 165.00 points to trade at 4,093.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 3.57% or 940.00 points to end at 27,270.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 3.00% or 6,000.00 points to 206,110.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which fell 2.32% or 750.00 points to trade at 31,620.00 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) declined 1.88% or 57.00 points to end at 2,980.00 and Leumi (TASE:LUMI) was down 1.16% or 40.00 points to 3,410.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 273 to 218 and 31 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.39% or 0.41 to $104.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.61% or 0.66 to hit $109.44 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.77% or 15.35 to trade at $1,969.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.61% to 3.22, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.04% to 3.49.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 100.35.
