Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Perrigo (TASE:PRGO), which rose 4.91% or 820 points to trade at 17530 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 2.80% or 67 points to end at 2459 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 2.36% or 1630 points to 70720 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Melisron (TASE:MLSR), which fell 2.09% or 440 points to trade at 20660 at the close. Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:GZT) declined 1.75% or 61 points to end at 3420 and Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL) was down 1.51% or 810 points to 52790.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 214 to 157 and 37 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.71% or 0.40 to $56.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.10% or 0.67 to hit $61.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 10.20 to trade at $1515.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.13% to 3.5232, while EUR/ILS rose 0.07% to 3.8853.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 98.377.
