Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Biomed, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.60% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Melisron (TASE:MLSR), which rose 3.47% or 900 points to trade at 26800 at the close. Meanwhile, Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) added 2.94% or 214 points to end at 7500 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was up 2.67% or 600 points to 23110 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 1.31% or 124 points to trade at 9318 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 1.27% or 39 points to end at 3033 and Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) was down 1.23% or 160 points to 12900.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 278 to 204 and 29 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.20% or 0.14 to $68.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.35% or 0.25 to hit $71.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.25 to trade at $1817.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.14% to 3.2077, while EUR/ILS rose 0.55% to 3.8029.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 92.382.
