Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Biomed, Real Estate and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL), which rose 3.26% or 6.1 points to trade at 193.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) added 2.30% or 138 points to end at 6144 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 2.11% or 1360 points to 65960 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TA:FATTAL), which fell 1.50% or 640 points to trade at 42080 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) declined 1.30% or 25 points to end at 1895 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was down 0.72% or 690 points to 95500.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 229 to 142 and 45 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.07% or 0.60 to $56.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.06% or 0.70 to hit $66.44 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 7.95 to trade at $1291.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.13% to 3.6241, while EUR/ILS fell 0.13% to 4.0727.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 97.227.
