Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Biomed and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which rose 3.22% or 2150 points to trade at 68960 at the close. Meanwhile, Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) added 2.75% or 840 points to end at 31370 and Gazit Globe Ltd (TA:GZT) was up 2.52% or 88 points to 3583 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which fell 1.55% or 170 points to trade at 10800 at the close. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) declined 1.42% or 900 points to end at 62600 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) was down 0.67% or 14 points to 2064.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 266 to 111 and 40 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.29% or 0.81 to $63.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $67.04 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.20 to trade at $1330.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.29% to 3.4833, while EUR/ILS fell 0.25% to 4.2872.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 89.81.
