Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Communication and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Harel (TASE:HARL), which rose 2.99% or 90.00 points to trade at 3,096.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) added 2.76% or 1,840.00 points to end at 68,510.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 2.51% or 150.00 points to 6,131.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 4.08% or 30.90 points to trade at 727.00 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) declined 2.61% or 39.00 points to end at 1,456.00 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) was down 2.43% or 128.00 points to 5,132.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 278 to 165 and 96 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.01% or 0.01 to $83.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.17% or 0.15 to hit $86.75 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 5.10 to trade at $2,333.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.32% to 3.77, while EUR/ILS rose 0.36% to 4.05.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 105.46.
