Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Communication and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT), which rose 3.28% or 1010 points to trade at 31800 at the close. Meanwhile, Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) added 2.98% or 880.0 points to end at 30430.0 and Perrigo (TA:PRGO) was up 2.77% or 810 points to 30080 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp), which fell 2.00% or 0.9 points to trade at 44.0 at the close. Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) declined 1.52% or 105 points to end at 6788 and Gazit Globe Ltd (TA:GZT) was down 1.19% or 40 points to 3335.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 250 to 121 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) rose to all time highs; rising 2.98% or 880.0 to 30430.0.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.50% or 0.92 to $60.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.79% or 0.51 to hit $64.44 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 5.20 to trade at $1326.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.34% to 3.4319, while EUR/ILS rose 0.09% to 4.2526.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 89.67.
