Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Real Estate and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.52% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 3.29% or 213.00 points to trade at 6,693.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp) added 3.07% or 30.60 points to end at 1,026.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was up 2.90% or 148.00 points to 5,248.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 1.04% or 340.00 points to trade at 32,460.00 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 0.94% or 780.00 points to end at 82,500.00 and Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI) was down 0.84% or 31.00 points to 3,669.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 276 to 180 and 84 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 4.97% or 3.67 to $70.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 4.67% or 3.62 to hit $73.84 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.56% or 14.80 to trade at $2,680.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.25% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS rose 0.22% to 4.10.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 102.90.
