Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 2.00% or 18.00 points to trade at 937.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) added 1.78% or 460.00 points to end at 26,300.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 1.62% or 21.00 points to 1,317.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 2.01% or 580.00 points to trade at 28,260.00 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) declined 1.98% or 42.00 points to end at 2,076.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 1.41% or 78.00 points to 5,455.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 270 to 195 and 71 ended unchanged.
Shares in Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.78% or 460.00 to 26,300.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.93% or 0.76 to $82.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.73% or 0.63 to hit $87.52 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 6.45 to trade at $2,157.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.61% to 3.67, while EUR/ILS rose 0.48% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 103.53.
