Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG), which rose 4.00% or 930 points to trade at 24200 at the close. Meanwhile, Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) added 3.56% or 164 points to end at 4772 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was up 3.14% or 119 points to 3910 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which fell 6.51% or 674 points to trade at 9686 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 2.61% or 89 points to end at 3326 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was down 1.34% or 31 points to 2283.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 297 to 157 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.61% or 0.40 to $66.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.73% or 0.50 to hit $69.38 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 6.75 to trade at $1782.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.19% to 3.2666, while EUR/ILS rose 0.06% to 3.9194.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 91.312.
