Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE), which rose 3.49% or 101.00 points to trade at 2,994.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 3.45% or 1,400.00 points to end at 42,000.00 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was up 2.75% or 102.00 points to 3,809.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which fell 3.09% or 83.00 points to trade at 2,605.00 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) declined 2.59% or 67.00 points to end at 2,516.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 2.21% or 120.00 points to 5,309.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 240 to 220 and 39 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.77% or 0.53 to $69.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.78% or 0.58 to hit $74.59 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 5.45 to trade at $1,935.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.36% to 3.64, while EUR/ILS rose 0.48% to 3.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 102.42.
