Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Real Estate, Communication and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 3.47% or 38 points to trade at 1133 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) added 3.25% or 200 points to end at 6350 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) was up 2.51% or 520 points to 21200 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Harel (TA:HARL), which fell 2.73% or 74 points to trade at 2639 at the close. Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TA:DSCT) declined 1.65% or 17.0 points to end at 1013.0 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was down 1.06% or 160 points to 14920.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 195 to 189 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.25% or 0.17 to $68.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $73.79 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 6.50 to trade at $1324.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.03% to 3.5880, while EUR/ILS rose 0.27% to 4.3528.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 91.31.
