Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Biomed, Insurance and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA), which rose 4.44% or 850 points to trade at 19980 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) added 3.78% or 84 points to end at 2304 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 2.74% or 1660 points to 62230 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 7.76% or 103 points to trade at 1225 at the close. Gazit Globe Ltd (TA:GZT) declined 1.39% or 46 points to end at 3269 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TA:ALHE) was down 1.26% or 48 points to 3776.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 241 to 158 and 28 ended unchanged.
Shares in ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 3.78% or 84 to 2304.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.33% or 0.25 to $75.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.24% or 0.20 to hit $84.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.65% or 19.70 to trade at $1211.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.40% to 3.6517, while EUR/ILS rose 0.21% to 4.2196.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 95.07.
