Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TA:LPSN), which rose 3.58% or 270 points to trade at 7810 at the close. Meanwhile, Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) added 2.72% or 4.6 points to end at 174.0 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT) was up 2.68% or 1160 points to 44410 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 4.60% or 59 points to trade at 1225 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) declined 4.07% or 282 points to end at 6646 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was down 1.79% or 19 points to 1045.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 238 to 141 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.07% or 282 to 6646.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.60% or 0.40 to $66.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $76.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1233.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.28% to 3.6816, while EUR/ILS fell 0.40% to 4.1959.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 96.12.
