Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 5.79% or 189 points to trade at 3456 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 2.79% or 18 points to end at 678 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was up 2.56% or 1610 points to 64400 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which fell 1.64% or 1340 points to trade at 80510 at the close. Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) declined 1.49% or 34 points to end at 2250 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 1.45% or 27 points to 1833.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 194 to 177 and 49 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.24% or 1.32 to $57.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.59% or 1.76 to hit $66.11 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 5.20 to trade at $1286.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.54% to 3.6312, while EUR/ILS rose 0.60% to 4.0437.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 98.060.
