Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Biomed sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:GZT), which rose 6.07% or 218 points to trade at 3810 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 5.53% or 195 points to end at 3722 and Shufersal (TASE:SAE) was up 3.40% or 79 points to 2405 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 3.12% or 1660 points to trade at 51480 at the close. Leumi (TASE:LUMI) declined 1.69% or 43 points to end at 2503 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was down 1.42% or 7 points to 506.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 239 to 151 and 26 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.24% or 1.28 to $55.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.76% or 1.10 to hit $61.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.85 to trade at $1473.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.18% to 3.4648, while EUR/ILS rose 0.29% to 3.8397.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 97.672.
