Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.38% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 5.11% or 71 points to trade at 1460 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) added 3.21% or 104 points to end at 3342 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was up 3.08% or 155 points to 5180 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 3.10% or 102 points to trade at 3188 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 1.85% or 49 points to end at 2603 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was down 1.85% or 610 points to 32320.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 326 to 177 and 21 ended unchanged.

Shares in Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.08% or 155 to 5180.

Crude oil for November delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $80.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.06% or 0.05 to hit $83.37 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 2.03% or 35.75 to trade at $1795.05 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.07% to 3.2324, while EUR/ILS rose 0.47% to 3.7412.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 94.162.
