Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT), which rose 4.21% or 67.00 points to trade at 1,659.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) added 2.95% or 163.00 points to end at 5,689.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was up 2.79% or 58.00 points to 2,140.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 2.87% or 174.00 points to trade at 5,887.00 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) declined 1.23% or 860.00 points to end at 68,830.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was down 1.17% or 5.20 points to 439.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 283 to 177 and 79 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.06% or 0.05 to $82.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.17% or 0.15 to hit $85.60 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 1.45 to trade at $2,364.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.22% to 3.67, while EUR/ILS fell 0.25% to 3.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 104.81.
