Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Communication, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 7.47% or 105 points to trade at 1510 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 4.84% or 1210 points to end at 26220 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was up 4.46% or 950 points to 22240 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 5.20% or 204 points to trade at 3721 at the close. Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) declined 2.36% or 480 points to end at 19830 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was down 2.02% or 86 points to 4165.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 240 to 201 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.46% or 950 to 22240.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.25% or 0.13 to $52.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.13% or 0.07 to hit $55.18 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 4.95 to trade at $1851.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.20% to 3.2772, while EUR/ILS fell 0.11% to 3.9756.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 90.433.
