Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Communication, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 2.56% or 13 points to trade at 524 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 2.24% or 580 points to end at 26520 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 1.97% or 166 points to 8610 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Isramco Negev 2 LP (TASE:ISRAp), which fell 1.59% or 1.0 points to trade at 62.0 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) declined 1.58% or 770 points to end at 47930 and International Flavors & Fragrances Inc (TASE:IFF) was down 1.30% or 560.00 points to 42360.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 205 to 182 and 35 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.97% or 166 to 8610.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.32% or 0.81 to $60.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.75% or 0.50 to hit $66.04 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.35 to trade at $1482.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.05% to 3.4765, while EUR/ILS fell 0.43% to 3.8512.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 97.280.
