Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Perrigo (TASE:PRGO), which rose 3.84% or 620 points to trade at 16780 at the close. Meanwhile, Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:GZT) added 3.75% or 124 points to end at 3435 and Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL) was up 3.07% or 1520 points to 50990 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which fell 4.86% or 4090 points to trade at 80000 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 3.41% or 64 points to end at 1813 and Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp) was down 1.82% or 18 points to 977.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 218 to 164 and 36 ended unchanged.
Shares in Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:GZT) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.75% or 124 to 3435. Shares in Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL) rose to all time highs; rising 3.07% or 1520 to 50990.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 4.33% or 2.38 to $57.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 4.81% or 2.82 to hit $61.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 4.45 to trade at $1512.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.21% to 3.4801, while EUR/ILS fell 0.14% to 3.8885.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 97.637.
