Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 5.00% or 4,420.00 points to trade at 92,760.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 4.20% or 201.00 points to end at 4,987.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was up 1.97% or 21.00 points to 1,088.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which fell 2.48% or 260.00 points to trade at 10,230.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 1.99% or 24.00 points to end at 1,181.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was down 1.76% or 9.30 points to 517.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 241 to 221 and 76 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.12% or 0.08 to $69.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.10% or 0.07 to hit $73.37 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 13.75 to trade at $2,628.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.40% to 3.74, while EUR/ILS rose 0.26% to 3.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 106.14.
