Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Communication, Insurance and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which rose 5.24% or 22.2 points to trade at 446.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Shufersal (TA:SAE) added 2.42% or 52 points to end at 2200 and Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) was up 2.39% or 58 points to 2485 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Poalim (TA:POLI), which fell 2.72% or 71 points to trade at 2538 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) declined 1.67% or 28 points to end at 1652 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) was down 1.27% or 2.0 points to 155.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 201 to 182 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.97% or 0.70 to $71.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.80% or 0.64 to hit $79.16 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.22% or 15.70 to trade at $1305.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.10% to 3.5689, while EUR/ILS rose 0.20% to 4.1861.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 93.66.
