Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Biomed, Insurance and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which rose 2.17% or 1540 points to trade at 72610 at the close. Meanwhile, Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) added 2.10% or 3.3 points to end at 160.2 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) was up 1.66% or 600 points to 36740 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which fell 3.18% or 1030.0 points to trade at 31320.0 at the close. Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) declined 1.96% or 49 points to end at 2457 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was down 1.93% or 280 points to 14210.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 210 to 167 and 36 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) rose to all time highs; up 1.66% or 600 to 36740.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.03% or 0.02 to $70.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.79% or 0.62 to hit $78.85 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.82% or 24.00 to trade at $1294.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.00% to 3.5901, while EUR/ILS fell 0.59% to 4.2589.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.56% at 93.07.
