Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Communication and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.30% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT), which rose 3.91% or 92 points to trade at 2442 at the close. Meanwhile, Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TASE:ORL) added 3.55% or 6.2 points to end at 181.0 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was up 2.59% or 123 points to 4880 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 5.95% or 46 points to trade at 726 at the close. Isramco Negev 2 LP (TASE:ISRAp) declined 1.44% or 0.9 points to end at 61.8 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was down 1.44% or 680 points to 46450.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 189 to 185 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.95% or 0.55 to $58.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.68% or 1.07 to hit $64.67 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 8.65 to trade at $1507.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.53% to 3.5162, while EUR/ILS fell 0.43% to 3.8818.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 97.982.
