Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Technology, Biomed and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 4.26% or 77 points to trade at 1885 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) added 4.07% or 3190 points to end at 81640 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was up 3.56% or 338 points to 9832 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE), which fell 4.06% or 189 points to trade at 4470 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) declined 1.96% or 1060 points to end at 53000 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was down 0.97% or 180 points to 18400.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 228 to 147 and 44 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.93% or 2.10 to $51.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.53% or 1.57 to hit $60.40 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 6.25 to trade at $1334.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.33% to 3.6052, while EUR/ILS fell 0.41% to 4.0530.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 97.143.
