Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TA:LPSN), which rose 5.01% or 473 points to trade at 9919 at the close. Meanwhile, Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) added 3.01% or 155 points to end at 5307 and Harel (TA:HARL) was up 2.30% or 59 points to 2623 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which fell 1.64% or 104 points to trade at 6238 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) declined 0.96% or 65 points to end at 6695 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was down 0.59% or 600 points to 101000.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 234 to 136 and 44 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.23% or 0.13 to $57.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $67.25 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.85 to trade at $1330.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.04% to 3.6111, while EUR/ILS fell 0.10% to 4.0962.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 96.405.
