Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR), which rose 4.09% or 4,990.00 points to trade at 126,850.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) added 3.89% or 176.00 points to end at 4,700.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was up 3.01% or 45.00 points to 1,540.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 1.77% or 90.00 points to trade at 5,000.00 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 1.52% or 1,340.00 points to end at 86,650.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was down 1.40% or 530.00 points to 37,300.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 7 to 4 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.40% or 530.00 to 37,300.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.53% or 0.41 to $78.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.56% or 0.46 to hit $82.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 15.50 to trade at $2,342.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.55% to 3.69, while EUR/ILS rose 0.40% to 4.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.26% at 103.87.
