Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Real Estate and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which rose 8.77% or 387 points to trade at 4801 at the close. Meanwhile, Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) added 2.59% or 700 points to end at 27740 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 2.10% or 35 points to 1704 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL), which fell 3.25% or 6.0 points to trade at 178.8 at the close. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) declined 2.35% or 720 points to end at 29920 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was down 1.72% or 1030 points to 58790.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 216 to 180 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $56.71 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.23% or 1.37 to hit $62.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.27% or 16.21 to trade at $1294.41 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.03% to 3.5150, while EUR/ILS rose 0.20% to 4.1442.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 93.61.
