Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 3.05% or 1300 points to trade at 43950 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 2.53% or 810 points to end at 32800 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was up 2.28% or 48 points to 2150 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which fell 2.92% or 11.0 points to trade at 366.0 at the close. Melisron (TASE:MLSR) declined 1.72% or 390 points to end at 22230 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was down 1.54% or 47 points to 3008.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 270 to 202 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.04% or 0.76 to $73.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.14% or 0.85 to hit $75.66 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 9.15 to trade at $1786.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.18% to 3.2515, while EUR/ILS fell 0.13% to 3.8838.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 91.698.
