Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Communication, Insurance and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.23% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 6.71% or 1,150.00 points to trade at 18,280.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) added 3.58% or 204.00 points to end at 5,899.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 2.80% or 13.90 points to 509.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which fell 4.90% or 540.00 points to trade at 10,490.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) declined 2.53% or 810.00 points to end at 31,190.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was down 1.93% or 590.00 points to 30,050.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 278 to 178 and 83 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) rose to 5-year highs; up 6.71% or 1,150.00 to 18,280.00. Shares in Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.80% or 13.90 to 509.90.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.22% or 0.15 to $67.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.17% or 0.12 to hit $71.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 4.95 to trade at $2,611.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.01% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS fell 0.33% to 3.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 106.15.
