Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE), which rose 5.13% or 195 points to trade at 3999 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE:HARL) added 4.80% or 111 points to end at 2422 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was up 3.78% or 60 points to 1647 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 5.64% or 91 points to trade at 1522 at the close. Matrix (TASE:MTRX) declined 3.94% or 370 points to end at 9020 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was down 2.75% or 42 points to 1486.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 235 to 164 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.78% or 0.76 to $43.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.47% or 0.67 to hit $46.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.77% or 14.90 to trade at $1924.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.04% to 3.4000, while EUR/ILS rose 0.21% to 4.0176.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 93.153.
