Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Biomed, Communication and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 6.20% or 1840 points to trade at 31500 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) added 3.79% or 570 points to end at 15620 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was up 3.39% or 37 points to 1127 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Poalim (TASE:POLI), which fell 2.74% or 55 points to trade at 1951 at the close. Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:GZT) declined 2.55% or 41 points to end at 1569 and Leumi (TASE:LUMI) was down 1.75% or 30 points to 1685.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 229 to 175 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.79% or 570 to 15620.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.76% or 0.72 to $41.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.75% or 0.33 to hit $44.48 a barrel, while the October Gold Futures contract rose 1.72% or 34.00 to trade at $2008.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.30% to 3.4163, while EUR/ILS rose 0.47% to 4.0247.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 93.373.
